Metabolic Regulation Care

A nervous system–informed, behavior-centered approach to metabolic healing.

If you’ve struggled with insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, or unexplained weight gain and were told to “just try harder,” this space was created for you.

Metabolic Regulation Care is a whole-person approach that addresses metabolism, nervous system regulation, behavior patterns, and the emotional and spiritual impact of long-term metabolic struggle.

What This Program Is Built On

A dysregulated nervous system cannot heal a dysregulated metabolism.

When the body has been under chronic stress, trauma load, burnout, or years of shame-based health messaging, it adapts for survival. Blood sugar becomes unstable. Appetite signals change. Energy drops. Follow-through becomes inconsistent.

This is not a failure of discipline.

It is a physiological response to prolonged stress and lack of support.

Metabolic Regulation Care begins by restoring safety and regulation, then builds repeatable behaviors that support metabolic healing over time.

We Name the Reality of Weight Gain

Weight gain does occur with metabolic dysregulation.

Ignoring that reality only deepens shame and confusion.

Many women were never properly informed about their diagnoses or taught how to care for their bodies. Instead, they were left to assume the struggle was their fault.

That creates more than physical symptoms. It creates:

  • anger

  • grief

  • depression

  • loss of trust in the body

  • feeling unseen and dismissed

  • spiritual confusion and self-blame

This program does not minimize that experience.

We acknowledge it, process it, and work through it gently.

Healing the metabolism also means healing the emotional and behavioral fallout that came with being uninformed and unsupported.

A 12-Week Metabolic Regulation Care Pathway

The Metabolic Regulation Care Pathway is a 12-week, structured healing container designed to support metabolic health through nervous system regulation, behavior-centered care, and compassionate education.

This program exists because metabolic healing takes time, safety, and consistency, not force or willpower.

Inside this pathway, you are supported physically, emotionally, and, if desired, spiritually. We address insulin resistance, metabolic dysregulation, weight-related grief, anger, and shame together rather than treating them as separate issues.

This is not a quick-fix program. It is steady, informed care built for real life.

Metabolic Regulation Care Pathway

12-Week Integrative Behavioral Healing Program

The Metabolic Regulation Care Pathway is a 12-week, structured healing container designed to support metabolic health through nervous system regulation, behavior-centered care, and compassionate education.

This pathway is for women navigating insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, chronic stress, trauma load, or long-term weight changes who need time and consistency, not quick fixes.

Healing at this level requires space for the body, brain, and nervous system to respond. This program is intentionally paced to allow that process to unfold.

What’s Included

  • 9 private sessions over 12 weeks

    • Weeks 1–6: weekly sessions

    • Weeks 7–12: biweekly sessions

  • Nervous system–informed metabolic guidance

  • Behavior-centered support focused on repeatability, not perfection

  • Gentle nutrition and metabolic education

  • Clinical herbalism support when appropriate

  • Emotional processing around grief, anger, shame, and identity

  • Optional spiritual care through Nourished by Grace for those who desire it

This is not a weight-loss program. Weight may change as healing occurs, but the focus is regulation, stability, and sustainable behavior.

Commitment Required

This pathway requires participation and consistency to be effective.

You are not expected to be perfect.
You are expected to stay engaged and give your body time to respond.

For this reason, the pathway is offered as a 12-week program, not as individual drop-in sessions.

Investment

Total Program Cost: $900

This reflects the depth, continuity, and integrative nature of the care provided.

Payment Options:

  • Pay in full: $900

  • Payment plan: 3 monthly payments of $300

Payment plans are offered to make care accessible while still honoring the commitment required for healing.

The Pathway Consult fee ($75) is applied toward the total program cost if you enroll.

Important Notes

  • This program is educational and supportive in nature and does not replace medical care.

  • Enrollment requires completion of the Metabolic Regulation Care Pathway Consult.

  • Space is intentionally limited to ensure quality care and capacity.

Next Steps

If you’re ready to move away from willpower and toward regulation-led healing, this pathway offers a steady place to begin.

My Story

Why This Work Is Personal to Me

This pathway exists because I needed it myself.

I did not begin my adult life disconnected from my body or uninterested in health. I was a Certified Personal Trainer through NESTA, deeply invested in movement and physical fitness, and actively training for my first marathon.

Then my body began to change in ways that didn’t make sense.

In 2005, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. Those diagnoses were documented, but never explained. No one taught me what they meant or how to care for my body moving forward. Around the same time, my health became more complicated by Multiple Sclerosis and layers of complex, ongoing trauma that kept my nervous system in a prolonged state of survival.

What followed was not a single breakdown, but a slow unraveling.

Over the next two decades, my weight climbed to nearly 300 pounds. My health declined in stages. My confidence eroded. And I carried a deep, quiet shame, believing this was a personal failure. I assumed I had lost discipline. I assumed my body was broken because I was broken.

That story was never true.

What I Didn’t Understand Then

With insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, MS, and chronic trauma all present, my body was constantly prioritizing survival over repair. My nervous system rarely had a chance to regulate. Healing did not fail because I lacked effort. It stalled because the load was too high and the support was too low.

I did not understand this at the time. No one helped me connect the dots.

Years later, after seeing conversations about insulin resistance surface online, something clicked. I went back into my medical records and saw the diagnoses clearly laid out. They had been there all along.

It explained so much.

And with that understanding came grief.
Grief for lost years.
Grief for unnecessary self-blame.
Grief for the care and education I should have received.

There was anger too. Anger that symptoms were treated without context. Anger that I was left to assume fault. Anger that so many women are still navigating complex health issues without adequate explanation or support.

That anger had to be healed alongside my body.

Healing Has Happened in Stages

My turnaround in health has not been linear, fast, or dramatic. It has been layered and staged, because that is what complex bodies require.

Between MS, long-term metabolic dysregulation, and cumulative trauma, healing has had to unfold slowly. At times, the focus was simply stabilizing. At other times, it was rebuilding strength, capacity, or trust in my body.

Using my background in clinical herbalism, nutrition foundations, nervous system regulation, and behavior-centered care, I stopped trying to force change and began supporting my body where it actually was.

I worked with regulation instead of willpower.
I built repeatable behaviors instead of chasing perfection.
I addressed grief, anger, and identity alongside metabolism.

And my body began to respond when it finally felt supported.

Still in Progress, Still Moving Forward

The photos you see here represent real change, but they do not represent the end of the story.

I am still in process.
Still healing.
Still moving forward.

That matters.

This work is not about arriving at a finish line. It is about restoring function, dignity, and trust over time, especially for bodies that have carried complex medical and emotional histories.

I share my story not as a “before and after,” but as lived evidence that regulation-led, behavior-centered care works, even when healing takes time.

Why I Offer This Pathway

I created the Metabolic Regulation Care Pathway because I know what it’s like to lose your sense of self when your body changes. I know what it’s like to feel unseen by systems and blamed by culture.

This work exists so other women don’t have to carry that alone.

You are not late.
You are not weak.
And your body is not failing you.

Healing can happen in stages.
And it can still be real.
